This intimate, hands-on masterclass teaches beauty and wellness professionals how to create a deeply calming facial massage experience using intentional manual technique, gentle facial drainage-inspired movements, Gua Sha, scalp work, and a personalized massage medium.

The focus is not simply on following a routine. You will learn how to create a polished, sensory service that feels memorable, looks beautiful on a menu, and fits naturally into a facial or wellness offering.

All registrations are final. Tuition is non-refundable and non-reschedulable. A reserved seat, instructor preparation, digital materials, supplies, and limited enrollment capacity are committed specifically for each participant. If you cannot attend, you may request to transfer your seat to another qualified participant no later than October 18, 2026, subject to Chic Image Academy’s written approval and completion of all registration requirements.

In the event Chic Image Academy must cancel or postpone the masterclass because of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, government order, power or facility interruption, public-health emergency, instructor illness or emergency, or another force majeure event, Chic Image Academy may reschedule the workshop. Your registration will transfer to the rescheduled date. If Chic Image Academy is unable to offer a rescheduled date, the Academy will provide a refund of tuition paid. Chic Image Academy is not responsible for travel, lodging, lost income, or other incidental expenses.

Learning format

You will first practice each technique with another enrolled student. This allows you to receive the ritual yourself, understand the client experience, build confidence, and receive real-time coaching before your final practical.

This is a small-group, hands-on workshop. Liz Galdamez leads theory, client experience, and service positioning. Mike Kirisits, Chic Image Academy Lead Massage Educator, leads the technique demonstration and guided practical work.

Model requirement for final practical

Each student must provide one model for the final practical portion of the workshop.
  • Models arrive only at their assigned final-practical time; they should not attend the full class.
  • Model arrival window: 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM, unless otherwise assigned by Chic Image Academy.
  • Models must complete the digital consultation, consent, and release at least 24 hours before class.
  • Models must arrive makeup-free or prepared to remove makeup before the service.
  • Models must meet all eligibility requirements and have no listed contraindications.
  • Models may not bring children or additional guests.
  • Students are responsible for confirming their own model. A missed or ineligible model may affect completion of the final practical.

Each student will receive a model-practical assignment after enrollment closes. Models are scheduled by appointment and may enter the Academy only at their assigned arrival time. This keeps the final practical calm, private, and well supervised.

Professional licensing and scope statement

This program is intended for licensed massage therapists and licensed estheticians or facial specialists. It is continuing education and client-experience training; it is not foundational licensure education and does not expand any attendee’s legal scope of practice. This program does not authorize body lymphatic drainage, post-surgical lymphatic work, diagnosis, or medical treatment.

Each attendee is responsible for practicing only within their current license, training, and applicable state scope of practice. Chic Image Academy may request proof of active professional licensure before the workshop.
