MAKEUP ARTISTRY AND FACIAL SPECIALIST
(480 HRS)
The Program Objective is to prepare the student to take the necessary exam for licensing as a Facial Specialist and be Certified by Chic Image Academy in various makeup techniques . Students will be taught the basic principles of Facial Specialty and makeup with professional standards that will prepare them to successfully complete the requirements for graduation from Chic Image Academy. Included in this program are 220 clock hours of Facial Specialty Training. The student must pass the final exam in order to apply for licensing by the Florida Board of Cosmetology and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation as a Facial Specialist. The student will also be trained in various makeup techniques and products and be certified by Chic Image Academy in Beauty, airbrush makeup , bridal makeup, special FX makeup and editorial makeup applications. Students will understand the science behind skincare while also understanding bone structure, color theory, tool selection and product knowledge.
The Makeup Artistry and Facial Specialty program is designed to train the student in both theory and practical settings in such areas as career ready practices, safe and efficient work practices, performing facials and hair removal, applying make-up, and the proper procedure and application of chemicals.

NAIL SPECIALIST

FACIAL SPECIALIST (ESTHETICS)
(220 HRS)
The program objective is to prepare the student to take the exam required for licensing. Students will be taught the basic principles of Facial Specialty and professional standards preparing them to successfully complete the requirements to graduate and also must pass the final exam in order to obtain a Facial Specialty License from the Florida Board of Cosmetology and be able to work as a licensed Facial Specialist and also Licensed by The Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The Facial Specialist program is designed to train the student in both theory and practical settings in such areas as career ready practices, safe and efficient work practices, performing facials and hair removal, applying make-up, and the proper procedure and application of chemicals. FACIAL SPECIALIST are what estheticians are called in Florida.

Electrology & Laser
Provide students with a comprehensive Electrology and Laser Program designed to equip them with the knowledge
and skills necessary to pursue a successful career in the field. This program focuses on providing students with a solid
foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical applications of short wave, blend, and galvanic methods as well
as laser technology. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates may apply for the state licensing exam
and the national certification testing.
Massage Therapy
The Massage Therapy Program focuses on developing student competencies, promoting professionalism, fostering
critical thinking, facilitating effective communication, emphasizing health and safety practices, providing hands-on
experience, encouraging lifelong learning, cultivating a positive learning environment, and preparing for state
certification. Students will receive anatomical lessons, exploring the correlation between pain episodes and the
structure/function of the human body. Specifically, they will gain knowledge and techniques to address issues in the
neck, back, and sciatic areas, as well as learn methods for relaxation, stress reduction, and muscle spasms. The
program offers opportunities for students to observe, assist, and learn the practical aspects of performing massage
services.
